The Basics

  • How does it work?
    A subscription to The Brew Box signs you up for a membership to receive premium craft beer delivered to your door. You subscribe to The Brew Box then we deliver premium craft beer to your door every month.
  • What's in the box?
    All of our Brewclubs source craft beer locally brewed from breweries across Ontario. To see specifically what's included in your subscription, refer to the club's page.
  • How much beer will I receive?
    Craft beers come in many different shapes and sizes, and as such each box may contain a variety of cans and bottles. Depending on the club that you choose, you can expect different volumes of beer outlined in each club's details page.
  • What beers and breweries will be featured next month?
    Part of the fun of each Brew Box delivery is not knowing exactly what’s inside. We believe that exploration and discovery are part of the craft beer experience, and we aim to provide something new every month. If you want hints about the next Brew Box, you can subscribe to our mailing list or follow us on Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram. Some clubs will give you a better idea of what to expect. Make sure to read the details of each club to find the right one for you.
  • What subscription terms are available?
    You can sign up for one, three, six, or twelve months at a time.
  • Do the subscriptions automatically renew?
    All non-gifted subscriptions will automatically renew on a monthly basis after the initial period has expired. Gifts will expire when the requested number of boxes have been delivered. You will be asked if the subscription is a gift during checkout. Select yes if you don’t want the subscription to automatically renew.
  • Can I order more of last month's craft beer?
    If you fall in love with a particular craft beer and you want to order more, email us at support@thebrewbox.ca to place a private order. We’ll do our best to get more of the craft beer you love. Note that many of the premium craft beers we feature are seasonal or limited edition releases. When they’re gone, they’re gone.
  • What is the deadline to place an order?
    Your order must be placed on or before the 23rd of the month to be included in the next Brew Box shipment. For example, if you subscribe on July 23rd, your first shipment will arrive in the first week of August. If you subscribe on July 24th, your first shipment will arrive in the first week of September.
  • Can I order craft beer for my event, wedding or party?
    Yes! Please contact us at catering@thebrewbox.ca to find out more about how we can supply fresh Ontario craft beer for your event.
  • Is this legal?
    Yes! The Brew Box is licensed by the AGCO and complies with all Ontario laws regarding the sale and distribution of beer.
  • Who can buy a subscription?
    You must be 19 years of age or older to purchase a Brew Box. Please be prepared to show I.D. upon delivery.
  • How can I reach you?

Shipping

  • How do you ship my beer?
    We ship our Brew Boxes via Private Courier or Canada Post based on where you live.
  • How can I change my shipping address?
    You can do this by logging into your account and selecting the subscription you’d like to update. Alternatively, send us an email to support@thebrewbox.ca and we will be happy to change your address for you.
  • Do you ship outside of Ontario?
    We can currently ship to Ontario, British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Nova Scotia.
  • How do I report an issue with my order?
    Send an email to support@thebrewbox.ca and tell us how we can help you. Our reply time is typically within two business days.
  • How do you handle payments?
    We use a secure online payment system to accept credit payments from these providers: Visa, MasterCard and American Express.
  • Can I cancel my subscription?
    You can cancel your subscription at any time by sending an email to support@thebrewbox.co. If you contact us after the cut off date for the current month you will receive one more Brew Box delivery after cancellation.
  • What if my box was damaged during delivery?
    Please refuse the delivery from Canada Post and we’ll send you a fresh box. If you do accept a damaged box, please contact us at support@thebrewbox.ca and provide photos. Your options will be as follows.
    • If your account is still active, we’ll put a replacement beer in your next box.
    • If your account is no longer active, we will ship you a replacement beer separately.
    • If we no longer have any beer to replace what broke, or if it’s more convenient for you we can refund the value of the beer that was damaged.
  • I didn't cancel and now I'm receiving another box. Can I get a refund?
    Unfortunately no, we will still have to charge you for it since we purchased the beer for your box. To avoid this from happening, be sure to cancel before the order cut-off date of the 23rd of the month.

The Brewscovery Club

  • What's in the box?
    Every Brewscovery Box contains a variety of craft beer exclusively from Ontario craft breweries. We partner with at least three different brewers each month to bring you the best they have to offer. Each Brewscovery Box includes descriptive tasting notes and coasters from our partner breweries.
  • How much beer do I get?
    Craft beers come in many different shapes and sizes. You can expect to receive seven to eight bottles and cans ranging in size from 473 ml to 750 ml. Each Brewscovery Box contains approximately four litres of beer.
  • When will I get my craft beer?
    We usually receive the beers from the craft breweries the first week of the month. We then package and ship them out shortly after. Most packages should arrive across Ontario after seven business days. Shipments outside of Ontario may take longer.

The Brewthusiast Club

  • What's in the box?
    Every Brewthusiast Box contains two different premium large format craft beers from breweries across Ontario. These beers are small batch, brewery exclusive beers that are available in limited quantities. We will also include tasting notes for each beer.
  • How much beer do I get?
    Each Brewthusiast Box includes two bottles of very rare, brewery exclusive craft beers from our partner breweries. You can also double up on these rarities for an extra $30.
  • When will I get my craft beer?
    We usually receive the beers from the craft breweries the first week of the month. We then package and ship them out shortly after. Most packages should arrive across Ontario after seven business days. Shipments outside of Ontario may take longer.

Sawdust City Club Members

  • How many craft beers do I get?
    You will get two premium bottles and up to 10 x 472ml tall boys from Sawdust City’s available core-brew and core-seasonal selections each month.

  • What are the rare-seasonal beers?
    Our rare-seasonals include all the beers we package in 473 mL cans OR 650 mL bottles, that are NOT on the core-brew and core-seasonal lists. Such labels include:
    • Princess Wears Girl Pants Meets The O.D.B.
    • The Blood of Cthulhu
    • 7 weeks of staying up all night
